Taxco

Since we've already established that i suck at scheduling my posts, i will be sharing with you today a little road trip we made before Christmas.

New Year's Eve

Aaaahhh! it's already 2015! How did that happen?! One day i'm in Mexico talking to my mother about a very active baby (who BTW loves to kick my bladder the whole time) and the next one i'm back in Munic panicking because i haven't written anything in almost 2 weeks! Whatever... here are some pictures of our New Year's Eve dinner at the Hacienda de los Morales.

Christmas at my parents

Merry Christmas! I hope you had a very nice time with your family and friends! The last christmas i spent at my parents place was 10 years ago! It was about time to spend the holidays with them again.  We spent the evening with my godparents and their kids. We had lots of fun, ate a lot of very yummy food and recieved nice presents, specially for the baby!

Tula de Allende

Last tuesday we made a little road trip to the nearby town of Tula de Allende. The adjacent archeological site was once the capitol of the toltec culture and was therefore almost as influential as Teotihuacán and Tenochtitlan. Sadly, the site is not really that well kept. Everything is a little bit old and there are a lot of vendors on the way to the main ruins, but it has an interesting garden with many different tipes of cacti and as part of mexican history, it's really worth a visit. Bring a hat and enough sunblock though!

Alebrije Parade

We have been sooo busy... and the internet here is not really that good :-/ I'll start by showing you pictures of the Alebrije Parade we went to last saturday. There were about 250 different alebrijes, these are just a small part of them (some of the best ones, in my opinion).
